We are assuming that by now you know that meat isn't good for you. Sure, it contains protein. So what? Many plant-based products also contain protein in sufficient amounts, but they don't come with saturated fat, cholesterol, antibiotics, and other inflammation-inducing components. The World Health Organisation has stated that processed meat are definitely carcinogenic, and that red meat probably causes cancer as well. Other meats cause cardio-vascular increase the risk of diabetes, osteoporosis, and many other chronic diseases that are so prevalent in Western countries or populations that have a high consumption of those products.
